Snow report Grisons, 03/21/2015
5-10cm Neuschnee, immerhin besser als nichts. Literaturtipp: Freeride Guide Davos Klosters, erhältlich unter www.freerideguide.ch

Overall impression
Snow condition
Certainly not above average for the season. But the downhill runs are still possible everywhere without any problems. There hasn't been any fresh snow in Davos for 3 weeks, so we'll take the 5-10cm. There should be a bigger increase in fresh snow on Wednesday.
Snow quality
The fresh snow is of good quality, but not connected to the lower layer. On the south side in particular, the fresh snow slides off immediately on the hard base. On the north side, the base is softer, mainly still powder, if it wasn't too heavily tracked. But you can still feel the bottom layer everywhere.
Risks
low. The fresh snow is too small to be dangerous. The base layer is well consolidated. On fine days, the risk of wet snow avalanches on the south side is likely to increase again soon during the course of the day.
Overall impression
All in all quite good, and rather better than expected. The weather was fine today, fog line at about 1900m. But the next snow front from Wednesday is welcome.
