Everything from green meadows with a light fluff at around 1500 meters to around 40 centimeters of fresh snow. We were heading south-east and I would say that there was no more snow up to 2,100 meters before the snowfall. But now the descent was still right in front of the house in the valley. By lunchtime, however, it was no longer At 2,600 to around 2,000 meters, it was beautiful powder, then increasingly soaked.

I give it three stars, at least for the altitudes above 2,000 meters. After that, you would have to reduce the stars considerably, down to zero stars in the valley, but three meadow stars instead

Risks

We tended to ride on the flat, where I felt safe throughout. I wouldn't want to do anything steeper, at least not at the moment. The influence of the wind can be seen everywhere and the snow cover doesn't look the most stable. I can only agree with the SLF with my observations and experiences!

A wonderful winter landscape, with snow-covered forests in icy temperatures and the best snow conditions, that's what I would have wished for in winter.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
