Snow report Grisons, 11/20/2014

The touring season has opened and ended again....

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Snow quality

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Above 2,500 no stone contact at all, neither when skinning up nor down, everything nice and white. There are no masses yet, but it's enough to cover everything, a very tight three.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

I would love to have such beautiful fluffy snow all season long. However, and therefore only three stars, a very light lid depending on the exposure.

Risks

Due to the increasing warmth, danger of wet snow slides in steeper terrain as early as the morning. Otherwise, heavy drifts and drifting snow in places, which is likely to go the distance even with little pressure....

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

That was my best start to the touring season ever, hence four stars. Otherwise it would certainly have been a middle three. Unfortunately, it will all be over again in the next few days when I look at the coming temperatures.....but nobody will take this start away from me;-) Here's to a great touring season!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
