Snow condition

Quite ok at this time of year. Start at approx. 1,900 meters. Quickly thinning snow cover, from approx. 2,200 everything completely snowed in. You should only be careful on ridges. Between 2,200 and 1,900 meters quite solid snow cover and most of it snowed in, but still keep your eyes open;-)

Snow quality

Mostly worth four stars, if not five. The snow is perfectly preserved by the cold temperatures. The only reason for deducting stars is that the wind was strong in places and the snow was partially compacted.

Risks

On today's tour, the main danger came from snow packs and these were easy to recognize and drive around. These can be found in all exposures, I was mainly heading south today. However, I was also very cautious in terms of steepness.

Absolutely brilliant and apart from a chamois (who recognizes it in the picture:-)) there was no one out and about. Cold, glistening, simply pure nature

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
