Lots of snow in the Karwendel. The cross-country ski trail in the direction of Eng is a good 1.5 m above the road, and in the Falkenkar there is surprisingly little snow in isolated areas (blown-off ridges). These few spots are easy to recognize.
Snow quality
10 - 20 cm of fluffy cold powder overnight. Up to approx. 1,800 m you can feel a hard layer of hard snow underneath, above this altitude the base is soft.
Risks
Basically safe conditions.
Overall impression
In the north-facing Falkenkar there are currently top conditions with reliable snow cover and powder.
