45 cm fresh snow

about 40 min bike ride possible to take a shortcut on the toll road. in the gully only in narrow places rock contact possible. otherwise quite good snow conditions

Snow quality

Breakable crust
Powder snow
Jelly snow

in the north gully about 45 cm of powder snow which picks up quite a lot of speed as a sluff after 2-3 turns. there were only 2 tracks in front of us and therefore still a lot of snow in the gully. will change over the days. the hard base is becoming more and more visible. Probably excellent conditions for this tour. Compared to the Estergebirge or Karwendel Nord of the last few days, the powder quality can't keep up. the sunny Friday has softened almost all exposures and covered them with a cap.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

were initially skeptical because of the old snow problem, and Gm cold to warm. the LLB would have hit the mark at this altitude above 2200m. Except for loose snow avalanches from the rock bars, no avalanches observed today.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Worse

long tour, with quite good snow conditions. not as good as the last few days but with a magnificent Karwendel backdrop

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
