Exposition
Snow condition
Ok for November. But only a few rewarding descents possible off-piste, usually only sensible with a glacier base, otherwise contact with the enemy
Snow quality
Good fluffy fresh snow on the flats and in hollows. Somewhat windswept and blown in places in exposed areas.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Sharks, crevasses, drift snow in extremely steep terrain
Overall impression
Little base, lots of sharks. Nevertheless, it was good to finally see a normal start to November with snow at lower altitudes. Still clearly too warm below 3000m. On Sunday, the rain and the high snow line took a lot of it away again.
