Variations of snow cover

The slopes are quite great. In the evening, it gets quite icy. We also did a bit a of freeriding, there the snow gets heavy and difficult to drive, one can also find some powder in untouched areas

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Powder snow

The conditions off piste are not the best, there is enough to have some fun tho. There is some crust/hardpacked snow areas and some heavy powder.

Risks

Old snow problem

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

We did a column test, it showed quite good stability. However there is the danger of persistent weak layer. There was a 2 cm of icy/hardpacked snow at 70cm, which broke at considerable force, displacing the upper and lower layer. The bottom is full of high grained snow, which doesnt connect at all with the column.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Equal

The pistes really good at early hours of the morning. The off piste? Meh

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
