Top compared to the last few years. You can still get down to 1000m on the south side. With the high temperatures, however, this could change soon. By midday, around 5-10 cm had been added from an altitude of 1400m.
Snow quality
The little fresh snow was not the lightest, but still pleasant to ride on. It became a little heavier as the day progressed. The main problem was that it lay on an unpleasantly hard surface (especially where there were already tracks). As the altitude increased, the rain shell became a little thinner.
Risks
We could see numerous snow mouths. Up to an altitude of 1800 m (we didn't go any higher), sliding snow and wet snow problems dominate.
Overall impression
Being outside is always better than lying on the couch. Colder temperatures and fresh snow are necessary.
