Powdern im Skigebiet

Overall impression
Snow condition
The snow conditions are very solid. Contact with the enemy is impossible. Only the posts of the pasture fences are a problem at lower altitudes, they often lie dormant just under the snow cover :D
Snow quality
Today, depending on the expo and altitude, almost everything was there. It has been snowing quite a lot over the last few days. The powder was a bit damp towards the bottom, and on the south side too. It was also a bit hard in places. At the top, the powder was dry and cold, sometimes a little wind-blown. The snow depth varied from blown off to thigh deep, depending on the wind. Where there was no wind, it was fantastic in any case ;-)
Risks
Today we were mainly out and about in the sparse forest and on the open slopes on the Aberg. The danger signs are often difficult to recognize because they are covered in snow. However, you can also see in the open forest that the wind has caused massive displacement and at the edge of the forest there are sometimes clear signs of subsidence. However, with a little experience and careful route selection as well as observing the LLB, this is definitely not a problem today.
Overall impression
Casual day, weather better than expected. Unfortunately, the obvious things were tracked relatively quickly. But if you know where you can still find enough untracked stuff ;-)

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
