Snow report Hochkönig, 02/15/2015
Off-piste skiing in Dienten. Funny conditions, all in all no real powder but quite usable!

Overall impression
Snow condition
Not really much, but enough to get down into the valley without any losses. On the south side, however, it looks pretty poor down there!
Snow quality
There was everything from perfect firn to settled powder! In the afternoon it was pretty soggy and wet on the sunny slopes, but if you know where to look, you can still find good powder on the shady slopes.
Risks
Overall quite relaxed. In the afternoon, a few small to medium-sized slides from rocky terrain could be observed on the Hochkönig massif opposite. In the ski area itself, the usual snow mouths could be found on the south-east facing grassy slopes on the Aberg.
Overall impression
All in all, a really useful day!
