Snow condition
Thanks to lift support, tours are possible to a very limited extent. We were out and about today in the altitude range from 1900 m to 1500 m in an easterly/northeasterly exposure. Below that it quickly becomes thin and no longer really sensible. South-facing exposures in the above-mentioned altitude range are already partially bare. I would say snow amounts up to max. 50 cm, with decreasing altitude quickly less. Wait for fresh snow!
Snow quality
Surprisingly much better than expected in corners sheltered from the wind. There was up to 10 cm of settled snow on a hard surface. Quite nice to ski. Would have been good if you hadn't hit the hard layer of old snow so often.
Risks
The low warning level from the LWD can be more than confirmed. Could not observe any anomalies. Only on steeper terrain (approx. 35 degrees) did the snow on the hard surface slip away slightly from time to time when walking. At most there is a risk of falling. Could potentially cause a weak layer during the next snowfall (in steep/very steep terrain). The main danger in this altitude range clearly comes from terrain traps and stones.
Overall impression
We set off without any expectations, the quick return to the car was within our grasp on the way up the lift and then, surprisingly, our playground turned out to be quite usable. Beautiful weather, no wind, almost summer-like temperatures, nobody out and about and still some decent turns.
