With the new 20-30cm above 1500HM sufficient snow cover. Ridges are still only lightly snow-covered, with a careless turn the surface will thank you. We have not encountered any winter below 1000m.

The fresh snow was nice and fluffy today, but towards the late afternoon you could feel the sunlight and it became increasingly heavier.
Risks
In the exposed areas, the wind has slightly displaced the snow and formed new snow packs. In steep areas where there was previously only a thin layer of snow, the fresh snow has often slid off in its entirety under load.
Overall impression
We didn't have any great expectations for the Bernese Oberland region today, as it rained quite a lot yesterday. We were therefore pleasantly surprised by the good conditions we encountered.
