The 60 cm of fresh snow unfortunately fell with a lot of wind. If you are not on stone skis, you should ski with foresight and prefer gullies. Downhill skiing on the meadow slopes is possible without any problems, in the forest with the hedges there is still some snow missing for great fun

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Light, fluffy powder snow, even in the gullies where it was definitely blown in. Where the sun was briefly able to unfold its power, there was a light crust below 1,800 meters, but it was easy to ski.

Risks

Couldn't discover any avalanche tracks, SLF had also reduced the snow level to Considerable for Sunday. We avoided extreme and steep terrain.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Relaxed Sunday in Grindelwald, couldn't remember ever riding the Männlichen Bahn without queuing. For rides in rocky terrain without holding back, at least another half meter goes. We had a great day with our group

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
