Avalanche warning level

Exposition

North North-Eas

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne
35 cm fresh snow

Yesterday it rained all the way up and slowly turned to snow. There was a surprising amount of snow overnight.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Powder snow

Surprisingly lots of powder snow, not the very light fluffy kind but great for skiing despite the large amount.

Risks

Fresh avalanches
Much fresh snow
South-East South South-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

The wind suddenly shifted to the south in the afternoon, and a lot of snow has been transported in places, especially in the touring area, which is probably better to stay out of. As only the lower lifts were open, we can only speculate about the upper area, I think a lot of snow was transported there too.

Avalanche activity

North-Eas

Dry slab avalanche (small)

Altitude: 2700 m

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Good day in Mürren, it was fun, in another winter I would maybe give it one star (rather half a star) less but it is what it is and it was bottomless

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
