Snow condition

Unchanged good, not much melting since yesterday. Nevertheless, the southern slopes are partly free of snow. However, this is more due to the massive sliding snow slides.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

The standard descent is powdery and very enjoyable to ski. Some of the sun-exposed return climbs in the area are already lazy and should probably be skied earlier than 14:30. in general, there is still great preserved powder in all shady areas.

Risks

The danger of gliding snow is quite significant, even far beyond 2400 you can see the massive snow pack collapsing. Otherwise, conditions are favorable in the cold exposures. On the ridges you can sometimes find a layer of sugar in the middle. You should be very careful with steep ascents.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

Bombastic terrain and the finest weather. Great cream turns whether in powder or firn and hardly any competition. When the days get colder again, the conditions will be very good for a long time to come.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
