Variations of snow cover

Even with the recent snowfall, the situation has improved only slightly. You usually have to drive with the handbrake on. In many places, there was no snow at all before the snowfall. The amount of fresh snow increases rapidly with altitude. Below 1800m there are only a few cm. Downhill skiing on the piste is still possible and good. First is now closed to skiers. However, the gondola lift is in operation.

Powder snow

Absolutely top. Fluffy, but settled very quickly as soon as the sun came out. Knee-deep.

Risks

North North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

In contrast to the last snowfall 2 weeks ago, the layers were much better connected today. Couldn't observe any losses

Worse

This was one of the best days of the season. White hare had hardly been skied so far this winter. The upper part was also really rewarding. Nevertheless, caution is still the order of the day everywhere. There is generally very little snow. But it will warm up again tomorrow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
