Early onset of winter, thanks to the cold temperatures the snow is still with us at the moment...for the weekend there is some growth again, some of the lifts on the Kleine Scheidegg are already open at the weekend!
At the moment there are many touring options around First and Kleine Scheidegg. The popular "White Hare" descent at the foot of the Eiger north face is not recommended at the moment as there is still too little snow, some of which has been blown in!
