One layer. About 50cm at the top. If you look well ahead, you can ride perfectly down into the valley without coming into contact with stones. Thanks to the grassy ground. In the valley it has about 10cm.

Snow quality

Powder at its finest. Slightly settled. But well preserved at minus 10 degrees.

Risks

Manageable risk. But will probably increase with the forecast snowfall at the weekend. Especially high up in the Alps.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Quite ok for the start of the season.
But the best thing about it is that the First ski area is closed for skiing for another week. However, the First cable car is running and transports touring skiers and freeriders at their own risk. There are still no pistes. All tours were made from First. Uf spitzen, Reeti, schwarzhorn etc.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
