Exposition
Snow condition
Above 2500m there is a lot of snow and little blowing snow for the season. Below that, however, it has rained a lot. Up to Mürren, however, the conditions are very good for freeriding.
Snow quality
Above 2400 m it is very deep and fluffy, but below that it decreases continuously.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Deep fish mouths are partially snowed in and poorly visible.
Overall impression
I really had fun today. Hardly any people. But the Schilthorn was still closed today. Schiltgrat doesn't open until tomorrow either. There's an extreme amount of snow for the season at this altitude, the likes of which I've rarely seen before. Up to 1500m, the rain has washed away the entire base.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
