Snow report Jungfrau Region, 12/29/2013

Ski tour on Höji Sulegg, Jungfrau Region. Below 1600m the snow was completely destroyed by the Föhn at Christmas, but fortunately there was a good load of white gold again on 26.12.2013 and 28.12.2013, so that there is now a good chance of a good snow cover.

Good, no stones, strongly increasing above 1800m. Descents up to 1000m above sea level possible without problems, but only about 10cm of frozen snow at the bottom

Snow quality

Set on the south side and partly light cover. Flawless on the north side.

Risks

relatively well-bonded layers, as it was only raining a long way up. The snow fell with a moderate wind. Already well settled on the south side. More tricky on the north side.

remains good, but will be even better at the beginning of the year with the predicted fresh snow. Photos at www.facebook.com/freerideguidejungfrauregion

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
