A little bit of snow has fallen again. The snow cover is still thin. Especially on the windward side near the crest, there is almost no snow due to drifting. In the blown-in and wind-protected areas, ground contact is unlikely, but you should still be aware of where you are skiing. From about 1100m there is very little snow on meadows. Only stone skis are recommended here. Nothing works in the forest. You can get through in the mountain pines, but the pillow season hasn't really started yet. There is a danger of getting caught.
Snow quality
There are many different types of wind-influenced snow. On the leeward side or protected from the wind, the drift snow and powder is very good to ski. You may hit the crust underneath in many places, but you can have fun.

Watch out for drift snow packs on weak old snow. Beware of sharks near the crest.
Overall impression
Nice day in the crowded touring area of the Axamer Lizum. Nothing outstanding but a bit of powder fun is possible.
