Snow condition
Snow conditions haven't changed much on the north side in the last few weeks, but today's fresh snow means that some of the blown-off sections are no longer recognizable. Open tracks are easy to ski, over 1900m partly blown away.
Snow quality
Above 1800m this afternoon nice cold powder snow, further down then slowly not quite so dry.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
The snow only fell in the morning and had barely bonded to the old snow in the afternoon. Watch out for sluff in steeper terrain.
Overall impression
After weeks without snowfall, finally some precipitation again. Very good to ride where it was soft before, but you can still feel it on hard surfaces. Let's hope that Tuesday will bring enough to cover all the old tracks
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
