Variations of snow cover

There is enough snow in the northern sector but not much. It's getting thin everywhere else. In the narrow gullies today I was glad to have Steinski. In the wide gullies, it was finally possible to ski at full speed again without fear of shark attacks. The descent down into the valley was on leftover slopes without any significant running sections but with unbuckling in between. Even in the sparse high forest, there is still enough snow in the northern sector.

Jelly snow

Snow quality very variable depending on altitude and exposure. Amazingly brilliant racepow in the northern sector. In the west, south and east there's broken harsh snow and bearing harsh snow, further down there's slush. There is not good snow, but not much. Therefore rather 3.5 than 4 stars.

Risks

Much water in the snow cover

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

It was very safe in the northern sector today. No signs of danger. Where the sun was beating down, the snow quickly became boggy.

Overall impression

Worse

Great day with two beautiful gullies and good snow. Also saw very nice tracks in a neighboring gully (from kurz.ski?) and thus already have a new project in mind.
