Exposition
Snow condition
At the starting point there is about 20cm of snow which increases to about 50cm towards the top. However, there are some places above 2100m that were blown away and there is only about 10cm of snow. Meadows and ground with few obstacles recommended. Not enough for mountain pines/alpine rose terrain.
Snow quality
In the exposures north to east powder, everything that turned more towards the sun had a lid with 3cm of powder on it. Even though it's been 1.5 weeks since the last major snowfall, it's usually really good to ski where it's still untracked.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
Up to 2400m a 1 today, the old snow problem at altitude is still relevant. Otherwise, the snow cover made a pretty stable impression.
Overall impression
Unexpectedly still found some untracked slopes 1.5 weeks after the snowfall. Fortunately, 99% of the ski tourers are still following the existing ascent tracks. As it is unfortunately supposed to be very warm and rain is forecast to be quite high, I skinned up 4 times today and took everything I could. Stone/ground contact cannot be ruled out, but on the right slopes you can ski quite relaxed without having to be afraid at every turn.
