Variations of snow cover

The general snow situation is still very poor, with relatively good conditions only in a small area from around 1600 to 1900m in areas protected from the wind. Further up and on open areas there is nothing or only a few centimeters without a base. It is best to choose grass as a base.

Powder snow

Nice cold powder snow with hardly any wind influence on my tour.

Risks

No warning signs

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Overall impression

Equal

Started the tour with few expectations after the last few days and was very pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, the places with good snow are relatively rare, which severely limits the choice of tours. It is probably best in forest aisles with few obstacles and mountain pine lanes. As soon as the forest becomes denser, there is virtually no snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
