Exposition
Snow condition
100m carry then ok for ascent and descent. Good snow conditions from 1300m, then sometimes without sharks at the end of March.
Snow quality
Lightly covered, as long as not in the sun. No pow, but also no broken snow, but light cover. Smearing firn under the influence of the sun.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Loose snow slides of the previous days visible in the climbing terrain around 40 degrees
Overall impression
Today once again Karwendel, running time 15 min ok for me. I was on the north side but Pow is over. Nice run under a rock arch, been on the to do list for a long time. South side looks like hiking and mtb, not skiing. The snow could have been better, but the scenery was great.
