A bit of freeriding in poor visibility on the Kaunertal Glacier

Not much snow here either, but it's probably as good as it's been all season so far, and off-piste skiing is also quite possible outside the glacier areas, especially on the north side above about 2700 m. I would be careful in glaciated terrain, crevasses are certainly not well snowed in.

Lots of broken snow, but also some nice powder (on steeper north-facing slopes above about 3000m).
Risks
Difficult to judge as we hardly saw anything. There was wind, but not too strong.
Overall impression
Well, with better visibility it would have been nice, it was quite difficult to find decent snow as you could hardly see it...
