Average for early June, i.e. there is still a lot possible, and not just on the glaciers. Of course, there is no really closed snow cover above 2500m, but all in all it's quite usable.
Snow quality
Either it wasn't clear for long tonight, or it rained for a while, in any case it was only frozen, so you broke in on the way up and had wonderful broken snow to ski down. Even at this altitude, the snow has not yet turned into real summer snow...
Risks
Not frozen properly, so be careful, but most of it is already down.
Overall impression
Ambitious start but broke off after a good 200m. Slopes in the ski area would have been nice very early in the morning...
