There is generally very little snow. In the upper part of the area maybe 20 cm of settled powder.
Snow quality
The descent from just below the Weissseespitze was quite sharky but without any rock contact. Actually quite good compact powder with a hard but not icy base.
Risks
No special features were observed that day. On the south side, the slope warming must be taken into account. On the north side there were stable conditions with small amounts of settled snow. The main danger comes from the many open crevasses
Overall impression
It was a perfect day of touring with sunshine and a surprisingly good descent.
