There is generally very little snow. In the upper part of the area maybe 20 cm of settled powder.
Snow quality
The descent from just below the Weissseespitze was quite sharky but you could ride it without any rock contact. Actually quite good compact powder with a hard but not icy base. icy base.
Risks
There were no special features on the day to be observed. On the south side, you have to take the slope warming into into consideration. On the north side, stable conditions with low with small amounts of settled snow. The main danger comes from the many open crevasses
Overall impression
It was a perfect day for touring with sunshine and a surprisingly good descent.
