Nothing would work in Serfaus without snow cannons. Sharks are omnipresent. A lot blown off by the Föhn storm recently. Very dependent on exposure, some gullies and hollows well filled, max. 20 cm of powder on the base. Homogeneous terrain is to be preferred, route choice limited to a few areas

Very nice to ski in the snow-filled gullies and hollows, I would say full-throttle powder. Although of course the sharks usually prevented that. Even on the sunny side it was ok, just with less snow on the crust. Snow cannons should be avoided as far as possible and artificial snow slopes still suck.

Risks

1 was issued. The influence of the wind was visible but now largely uncritical. On the sunny side in extremely steep or rocky terrain, I saw a loose snow slide here and a sliding snow mouth there. I also think I saw a snow slab. It was all quite small. Sharks were more dangerous today. Or drunken opening package guests

Finally my personal start to the season! Didn't think I'd find such good powder, even face shots turned out. And there was not much going on either. Fits!
