At the bottom, 30-40 cm of fresh snow has fallen on a rather thin surface and even in the lower forest the stumps are not yet covered by a solid layer of snow. Above it's tip-top. After this weekend, this should no longer be a problem.

It doesn't get much better than this in the Alps. Visibility problems for snowboarders have also occurred here.
Risks
untracked in the forest, certainly wild in high alpine terrain, as the wind continued yesterday. The rain crust could still be felt on north-western slopes close to the crest, i.e. all the fresh snow lies elsewhere...
Overall impression
beautiful variable day with occasional brightening. This is how the year can start.
