Snow condition
This morning from the parking lot 10cm of loose fresh snow on old snow, increasing to 20cm in the cirque. No grounders all the way down. It could be a little more near the valley.
Snow quality
High quality but partially compacted by wind. Today, however, no superficial crusts noticeable when driving.
Risks
Drifting snow, lots of drifts. Low visibility at times and danger spots obscured. Skiing slightly above the tree line.
Overall impression
Some good turns in the lee and in the light forest. Less snow than expected, but more wind than anticipated - but still beautiful.
