Descent through forest
Blown backs
Covered shoes

Combs blown free, good position in our westexpo, no enemy contact. No experience below 1300, as the glider is in a cold valley

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Breakable crust
Powder snow
Wind drifted snow

In sections mega nicely preserved powder, especially around the forest boundary. Further up, very heterogeneous with the beginning of wimdharsch and the influence of the sun. Challenging to ride.

Intensity: medium

Altitude: 1700 m – 2100 m

Risks

South-West West North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

The "easily recognizable" drift snow from the llb was not so easy to spot, I think. In any case, I didn't make any recent observations. The snow cover looked very stable everywhere.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Equal

The situation in the kitzbühel valleys is not bad at all. It's better to harvest the 300m around the edge of the forest two or three times than to chase peaks, if you ask me. Fourth star just missed, as there are only a few places where you can really switch off your brain

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
