No penetration possible in the core region of the January apocalypse, snow as far as the eye can see

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

The fresh snowfall on Saturday brought the powder feelings to a boil, but the warmth made the snow difficult to handle. On the tour on Sunday with sunshine, you have an imperial view, but you can't be too late, otherwise the powder will be too deep.

Risks

The increased avalanche warning level 3 due to the snowfall on Saturday was also justified, but the snow layers on site were still very firm. The popularity of the tour did the rest and the many tracks meant that only limited slope tension could build up.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

We are very spoiled this season, especially in Tyrol, which is why I give this day three stars. A good training day to get fit again on the uphill, but there have definitely been better powder days this season

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
