Despite the recent snowfall, there is still very little. It is possible to ski down into the valley, but you have to reckon with regular contact with the ground. Things look better further up. On the ridge, however, there is very little snow again, as the snow has been blown off here.

Snow quality

Very fluffy powder snow in the morning on the ascent. Despite the cold temperatures, the snow became really heavy from 11:00 am. The sun was very strong today and you can really feel its increasing power.

Risks

EditAccording to the LLB warning level 3, there is again a strong accumulation of drift snow. The snow cover made a well-consolidated impression. And I personally would have given this slope a 2. No releases could be observed either.

EditNice day for a ski tour. However, it was more about being outside again and walking a few meters in altitude. It's fun when the weather is at its best. Unfortunately, the snow was already so heavy on the descent that it wasn't really great anymore. That's why I only gave it 2 stars today.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
