Snow condition
Alpbachtal and Wildschönau offer the best conditions. Up to 80 cm of snow in the valley on the north side. All tours can be undertaken without any problems.
Snow quality
Fine powder that only lost a little due to the cold temperatures. A light crust could be felt on the south side towards the afternoon. Perfect on the north side and it will stay that way.
Risks
According to the LLB, it was a 2nd class up to 1800m. Our tour was just above that, but the snow cover made a good impression. We could not observe any slides. Large cornices could be seen in the summit area.
Overall impression
Another great day comes to an end.
There was almost nothing going on on our little tour. Simply perfect conditions including glorious weather, what more could you want!
