The snow conditions are generally quite poor. You can still reach the valley on most variants. However, the downhill route should be well planned, especially if it has a southern section. Today, the light was quite flat in places, which made it difficult to recognize danger spots (hollows, streams, etc.).

From wet powder to firn and slush to ice, everything was there. Frozen avalanche boulders could also be found again and again.

Risks

The southerly wind is constantly transporting drift snow. However, the deposits (the snow is already quite damp in places) are manageable and easy to recognize. There is also a danger from hollows, streams and other obstacles due to the modest snow conditions.

Not a day you'll be talking about for years to come. A bit of exercise therapy in often useful lighting conditions isn't so bad either.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
