Snow condition
The recent snowfall has improved the snow conditions compared to my last visit two weeks ago. A few centimetres of fresh snow were added overnight. Today there was insignificant precipitation throughout the day. On the north side, the situation looks quite solid and even in sun-exposed exposures you can get down to around 1200 m without any problems. All in all, it's just enough for 3 stars.
Snow quality
Everything was there, from friable to load-bearing melt and wind harsh to set powder in sheltered north-facing locations, to spring powder. Unfortunately, the amount of powder was quite manageable as quite a lot of it was already completely chopped up.
Risks
We did not make any observations in the area where we were traveling. Due to the sometimes poor visibility, we were mainly below the tree line. The temperatures were not particularly high, so there was no great danger of sliding snow avalanches.
Overall impression
Outside is always better than at home.
