Descent to valley (to 1100 m)

From Inneralpbach through Greiter Graben there is still enough snow on the forest road, only 2 short passages with no snow. But there is not too much left, if it stays warm you will soon be able to carry snow here. Otherwise very good snow conditions from the tree line onwards.

Wet snow
Jelly snow

On sunny slopes, surprisingly wet snow right up to the summit areas, in shady areas, hard/crushed snow. Surprisingly good slush in sunny areas. No more powder in shady areas at this altitude, rather harsh/crushed snow there.

Risks

Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Daytime warming, wet snow slide

Worse

Very warm and wet snow cover up to the summits; but there was nice spring snow on sunny slopes; at least below 2,200, powder is also gone on the snow side.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
