Still quite good. On the sunny side, the snow is slowly disappearing. On the north side, downhill runs are still possible without any problems. Cleared forest roads are no longer long or you have to expect short interruptions.
Snow quality
We were only out and about in the northern exposure today. The fresh snow was still really good at 10 cm to 15 cm. The first few meters close to the ridge had a very light wind cover in the morning (this had already softened by the second run), after that there was no wind influence and the quality and sinking depths depended on the sunlight. The fresh snow was already a bit wetter. Due to the warm temperatures, it becomes boggy from midday at the latest where the sun reaches.
Risks
Today we had classic spring conditions. Start early and finish the off-piste activities early. There was wind in the summit area. However, it was much weaker than we expected. Towards the Tauern, the situation didn't look particularly inviting. The fresh snow was well bonded to the old snow cover.
Overall impression
Another beautiful day with good snow. Powder turns at the end of March are always fun.
