Down in the valley and in the south it is getting thin, further up there is a good layer of snow.
Snow quality
actually wet fresh snow in all exposures, in northern exposures correspondingly less wet than in the south or east, but it was still quite good skiing.
Risks
Some wet loose snow avalanches, near the crest it was blowing quite well due to the foehn, above 2000 m, note the new snow packs, otherwise the old snow cover below 2000 m was stable.
Overall impression
Two beautiful descents and interesting interplays of sun and cloud.
