Exposition

North

Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne
15 cm fresh snow
Stone Contact avoidable

We are a good month too early this year with the thinning out of the short forest section. The lower part of the north face is also getting thin. Only the gaps at the top are halfway comparable with the last few years

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Powder snow

Perfect conditions for steep descents at the top. 20 cm and sometimes more on a soft surface, which often feels twice as deep on steep slopes. Fine and cold. Still usable in the shade in the middle section, but with a hard, slippery base.

Risks

Diurnal warming
Much water in the snow cover
North North-Eas East South-East South South-West West North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

Favorable snowpack structure, llb 1 . In an untracked ridge, a three-foot slab was kicked out of the turn, but very close to the surface. Sleet in it, but still very stable overall

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Worse

Awesome conditions in the saddles of the griesner kars yesterday. Compensated for the poor season. Carry over the forest into the cirque. Whether it's worth it again will be decided by the snowfall limit of the next precipitation, the maximum is 1300. The carrying route put some people off, there wasn't much going on for the annual easter hustle and bustle - but everything was still tracked down

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
