Overall impression

Altitude

1200 - 2200m

Avalanche warning level

considerable (3)

Exposition

North North-Eas East

Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne
70 cm fresh snow
Descent to valley (to 1200 m)
Descent through forest

At the bottom it is naturally thin, we had to carry the first few meters on the forest path. Even for the next 200m it's still pretty narrow. If it stays this warm for the next few days (it was raining when we left), the snow at the bottom will probably be gone again quickly. It snowed a lot at the top, and we were able to sink the stick about 1m deep on a forest path.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Wet snow
Powder snow

Wet underneath, nice pow on top. Unfortunately not quite as fluffy as the last few days, it was too warm for that.

Risks

Much fresh snow
North

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Inconspicuous on our tour itself. On the western slope opposite, about 40 degrees at 1600 m, there were quite a few loose avalanches.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Worse

With the warmth and the rain, the amount of snow at the bottom should decrease quickly. At the top, there is now a lot more snow for the end of the season

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
