Exposition

North North-Eas East

Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Pretty much like at Easter. Middle layers a little better, carry unchanged until the beginning of the car. Gullies/chutes well filled at the top

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne
Hard, pressed snow
Wet snow
Firn
Jelly snow

Rain cover or over-frozen field to the very top. After softening it was quite nice to ride, mostly direct transition to sulz, a short time window similar to firn. We had already expected some slush in the morning because of the blog entry from the lwd, but the microclimate of the griesner kars had still preserved some cold or produced it overnight.

Risks

Rockfall danger
Diurnal warming
Much water in the snow cover

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Wet snow. From the east side, as announced by the llb, already in the early morning snails, bolls and smaller chutes, later also medium-sized ones with long runouts. In the north-facing couloirs even longer unproblematic due to the clear night

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne
Equal

A fine early summer's day at the kaiser, a star extra due to the weather, the accompaniment and the bread time

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
