Snow condition
Must be carried up to the firewood store. Average for the time of year at the top. In the lower area, however, it will soon no longer be enough and you also have to carry up the first steep step.
Snow quality
It wasn't a starry night, so we weren't expecting much. It wasn't swampy on the ascent either, but it did get swampy early in the morning. Still ok in the upper part of the fair weather window. With a clear night and a timely descent top firn, is that ok?
Risks
I wouldn't describe it as relaxed. We set off early, but it was still quite soft. It wasn't a clear night, so you always have to be careful! There is still a lot of snow in the rocks above the ascent, which will come at some point. A large avalanche has started in the lower part, triggered by the rocks, which also has to be crossed. Some still started at 12 o'clock...you start to wonder...
Overall impression
Was ok, didn't expect any more. Busy probably well into the afternoon. Tour should be over by midday. Otherwise you can probably do something here until well into May.
