From Pass Thurn, you can easily start and ski down towards the ski area. I used the lift assistance to get a fast and higher starting position. The north-facing meadows are covered in snow, so you can have fun with a defensive skiing style and avoid contact with the enemy. I was mainly in the 1500 m and 2000 m range. On the south side, it doesn't look great in this altitude range.

On the north-facing meadows protected from the wind, I found beautifully set powder that was great to ride. Wherever the sun was more intense or the wind was more active, you should expect a cover (not always stable).

Risks

For me, the main danger today came from ditches, forest paths, tree stumps and streams. From steep, sunny terrain, you could occasionally see small slides.

Good weather, good snow and untracked terrain found.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
