There is about 10cm in the valley and about 40cm on the mountain. The snow is often blown off near the ridges. At the moment, contact with the ground is still to be expected. Most of the terrain close to the piste is already quite tracked, so if you are looking for untracked terrain you should definitely take your skins with you.

Snow quality

Where the snow has not been affected by the wind, the snow is really powdery. Due to the cold temperatures, this is likely to remain the case for the next few days.

Risks

According to the ski resort, warning level 1, the snow cover looked well settled and I couldn't see any drifts. I would be careful on the terrain near the ridge, as quite a lot of snow was blown there.

Overall impression

Weather day to make the first turns in the terrain. The foundation is now in place and the powder slats can be taken out again with the next decent snowfall.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
