The snow conditions are visually very nice, as (almost) everything is white right down to the valleys. But there's just not a lot of it. The descent down through the forest is just about okay, but the surface has paid off. Otherwise it's still very sharky and many terrain traps are open.
Snow quality
The north side is still quite good powder, and some of the bottom has already been really nicely converted. It's practically dead in all the other expos.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
No real danger apart from sliding snow.
Overall impression
Nice tour in the best weather on the Karstein, where I was able to catch some really good pow on the descent on the north side. But now we urgently need snow in the Kitzbühel mountains. Otherwise it's all piste.
