Pictures speak for themselves. Very good from 1200m upwards. This year, the east and west-facing slopes are reversed compared to last year. Eastern slopes often have less this season than their western counterparts. In the congested areas there is significantly more than in the areas directly shaded by the Kaiser. In the very dense forest there is still half a meter.
Snow quality
Has decreased compared to yesterday. Still very good until midday, but still nice to ride afterwards, but with noticeable moisture ingress. It also started to blow at the crests from 2pm. Overall much better than expected according to the forecast.
Risks
Like the last few days, we were safe on the road. Anything over 35° in open terrain is absolutely taboo, or you can make a really good argument. But I can't think of much at the moment! No warning signs today compared to yesterday. Tomorrow will certainly be very critical with the rain.
Overall impression
Wow! A great day and almost alone. The temperatures were up and down from midday. It also snowed heavily again for a short time. A solid 4 stars.
